Updating the SOTEN Firmware

🚨 IMPORTANT: Update Your TENSO Unit to the latest Firmware

To ensure optimal performance and compatibility, please update all TENSO units to the T46 firmware version by following the steps below.

βœ… Step 1: Check the Current Firmware Version

  1. Power on the TENSO unit.

  2. Navigate to:
    Settings β†’ About β†’ System Version

  3. Verify the current system version displayed on the screen.

⚠️ If it is not TENSO_ACSL_T46, proceed with the steps below to update.

πŸ”„ Step 2: Download and Install the T46 Firmware

  1. Download the T46 firmware file using the link provided (ensure the file is not renamed, should be a *.ZIP file).

  2. Copy the firmware file to the root directory of a microSD card (not inside any folder).

  3. Insert the microSD card into the TENSO.

πŸ’‘ Make sure the microSD card is formatted to FAT32 for proper compatibility.

πŸ”§ Step 3: Begin the Firmware Update

  1. Return to:
    Settings β†’ About

  2. Select β€œUpdate from SD Card” to begin the firmware update.

  3. The update process will take approximately 2–3 minutes.

  4. Once the update is complete, the TENSO will automatically reboot.

βœ… Step 4: Verify the Update

  1. After rebooting, go back to:
    Settings β†’ About

  2. Confirm the following:

    • System Version: TENSO_ACSL_T46

    • Launcher Version is displayed

    • MCU Version is displayed

βœ… If all are correct, your TENSO firmware has been successfully updated.

πŸ“‘ Step 5: Check and Update Falcon Software (if applicable)

  1. Navigate again to:
    Settings β†’ About

  2. Look for the Falcon SW Version (e.g., 1.1.1 (v30)).

⚠️ If the version is 1.1.1 (v30), keep the TENSO powered on. After about 1 minute, a prompt will appear requesting to update the Falcon software.

  1. When prompted, select "Confirm" to begin the update process.

Once both the TENSO and Falcon software updates are complete and verified, your system will be fully up to date and ready for optimal performance.
