How to Manually record with the Micasense Rededge-M Series

These are the instructions on how to use the Rededge-M by Micasense on a drone that does not have a full integration for triggering.

  1. Make sure your camera is connected and powered on (if using drone power, the drone will need to be on).
  2. Connect to the Micasense WIFI (this can be done by computer, tablet or phone)
  3. Password: micasense
  4. Open a broswer and go to IP Address 192.168.10.254 

    Type http://192.168.10.254 into your web browser to access camera's home page

  5. Make sure that all the items are GREEN and ready.  Storage, GPS, DLS and time.  If they are NOT green there is a problem with your setup.  Proceed to the next step if all are green.

  6. Switch to the COG on the top right.

  7. Set your Auto-Capture Mode to  TIMER

  8. Select a time period, in this case, 2 seconds.

  9. Set the Target Altitude you will be flying.

  10. Click START right before take off
